hi guys welcome back yes you guys love
me okay so today we're getting right
into it so I have another nail tutorial
that I'm going to bring you but today
it's just gonna be a simpler one and
it's with frigid tips so I'm gonna jump
straight into it seem pretty much same
steps as I did before but just a little
different because you're doing French
tip and rather than the natural nail tip
excuse my mess behind me I'm in my
studio room today rather than being in
my living room and I'm trying to keep it
quiet I don't want the children to hear
me anywho so let's get started okay so
here's where I have the Nell's
the French tip nails I'm in Assizes them
up each to my natural nail you can size
it up by the numbers and they're
underneath the tip I'm going to show you
but it's very tiny so you probably can't
see it and I remember the trick is to
make sure the tips are always bigger
than your actual natural natural Nell
because when you go to apply the acrylic
you want it to go over the entire nail
and the tip because you can always file
it up now I have all of the tips laid
out from size that they are and I'm
going to again apply glue to them and
get them all stuck to my natural nil as
they're supposed to be so I will go with
my thumb and work myself into all of my
other fingers one by one and you only
should have to hold the no glue for a
few seconds onto your nail to make it
stick and if you watch I'm going to hold
it and press hard into the middle and
then you always squeeze the sides to
make sure that the sides also get stuck
down because if not you'll have lifting
there you go it stuck really nice on
there and you just move through each
nail until they're all done and again I
keep all of my sizes together from each
so they're doubled up so that I know
each nail is going to be the same size
and I do one hand at a time because it's
just too hard to do more than that
same thing you're gonna push it down
hard
hold it you'll squeeze the sides to make
sure that they're intact on the sides
really well
and you're gonna redo that for every one
of your Nils and then I'll be back
alrighty now that I have my nails done I
started on my other finger to start
doing my thumbs and I decided to stop
and just do one hand at a time so here
I'm going to size my tips up to the size
that I want you just do whatever size
you want what fits your preferable 'ti
I'm doing actually pretty long nails
today normally I don't do them this long
but it's just a change something
different and you just clip them again
you can use scissors you can use toenail
clippers alrighty now I have the other
hand done sorry I'm adjusting the camera
to come a little bit closer to me I have
my other hand done so I'm gonna clip
those ones as well and like I was saying
if you don't have nail clippers you can
use toenail clippers you can use
scissors I personally I like having the
nail clippers because they work with the
shape of the tips and then you just when
you're clipping them you just make sure
that they match every tip to tip so as
you watch I'll lay my tips down with
each other to make sure that they all
match and if one is a little longer than
the other then you just clip it until
they fit they match each other that
one's just a little bit longer so I'll
go back and clip it just a little bit
sorry I'm kind of out of the camera here
okay so that got done and yes I'm using
a medicine cup for my acrylic liquid
liquid because I forgot my glass tray
and I did not want my kids to see me go
out because they're gonna scream and
then here I'm just using gel primer it's
the same thing as every primer it's
nothing different but it's very
important to put down primer on your
natural nail because that's what
dehydrates your nail and makes the
acrylic wanna stick so if you don't do
that you probably will have some lifting
issues but you don't have to put it on
the tip and here we are getting ready to
start doing the acrylic process so
you're just gonna put your brush into
the acrylic liquid you dip it into the
powder pull it towards you to make a
ball you lay the ball down on the tip of
your nail and you just work it from the
back of your cuticle to the front of
your tip and you just basically brush it
on as if you're like you're painting
your nails just make it all even and you
just do that and apply that to every one
of the nails making sure every nail is
done at the same amount of acrylic
liquid to the powder
and the thicker you make them the more
sturdier they're gonna be but you just
don't want to become too thick because
then it looks so ridiculous I'm gonna
bring you guys down a little bit more so
you can see a little bit closer I'm
sorry my lighting was not the best today
either because I was in front of my
window and sometimes the window can lit
a little bit too much Sun in and then it
just kind of blinds me out a little bit
but basically you're just gonna keep
applying the acrylic and if you watch as
I'm doing it I am wiping my brush on my
paper towel to just brush off the excess
acrylic that I don't need because you
don't want it to all ball up because
then I was just going to become a huge
mess
and like I said before it's kind of like
sculpting so you just kind of add until
you see that it's completely even and
then you can go on to the next No
and you'll want to make sure you get the
sides really good too
sometimes it's easy to do the Middle's
and forget the sides so I always go back
two times if you notice and always check
my sides to make sure that I've got them
all covered with acrylic because if not
your tip can actually get caught on
stuff and tear and that could be a bad
thing because it can get caught and tear
your natural actual mill and cause some
serious problems and again today I'm
using the kiss acrylic problem problem
the kiss acrylic kit that I have gotten
the other day and today will be the last
day that I can use the acrylic liquid
because it only is good for two
applications which is kind of crazy but
it only had that much acrylic liquid in
it so I'm gonna have to buy some more
cuz it's already gone but the powder I
still have plenty of powder and the
brush held up pretty good considering
just keep applying the acrylic
pinkie's can be a little challenging so
just remember when you're doing the
pinkies to do a little bit at a time
because if you put too much it will drip
out and get on to your fingers and that
can become a huge mess to have to get
off your skin so just do little amounts
and then work with what you put on there
you go it's my first hand now that I've
applied of the acrylic on both hands I'm
gonna start filing and what you have to
do is you have to get the files and pull
pull the acrylic away from the skin a
little bit I'm gonna use I have both
Emery boards that I'm gonna use I was
gonna use my handheld but I decided not
to just because I I think it's gonna be
easier to just use the the hand files
and what you're going to do is you're
going to use your filer I'm just showing
you that you can use that one but I just
I'm using yeah and I'm gonna pull the
skin away a little bit because my skin
got caught a little bit and then you
just file to make all the nails even
with the tip sometimes the skin can get
a little bit caught when you're putting
the glue one and then when you do the
acrylic you can just kind of get stuck a
little bit so you just use it to kind of
guide the skin off try not to shake you
guys
and you just go through each no and file
them all up this is when you would go
ahead and file the shape if there's a
shape that you want I was going for the
square shape so pretty much my shaping
was already done I was just basically
filing the sides just to make them all
even that was what my I was working for
but if you were wanting to do round or
oval or coffin shape any of those this
would be about the time that you would
start doing that to get it into the
shape that you were wanting but
preference me I like the square nails
and you're just gonna do this through
every one of your fingers some may need
more filing than others just kind of
depends on how you put the product on if
you did it fairly even then you
shouldn't have to file too much
and here I'm tapping I know you guys
can't hear it but you're tapping I'm
tapping the knell tips to show you that
they are settled so they're good to go
on filing them usually you want to wait
about five minutes after you apply the
acrylic just to make sure that they're
dry but it just depends on how fast you
apply the acrylic to when you're going
to do the filing and again you're just
working the skin away from the know you
want to be very careful because you can
slice your skin if you do not pull the
skin away from the nail before you start
filing so just make sure that you get
all the skin away from the nail tip
before you go filing it because that is
very painful I have done it many times
before
it's very easy to get the skin stuck to
this No
okay so here what I'm gonna be doing is
this is a little tool that you can use
under your nails and if you notice it's
kind of blurry but you see a little
pocket of acrylic that is underneath my
nail and what you can do is you use this
tool to file that out and it just drills
it off you just go down and it will take
it off so that there's not bunches of
acrylic that is underneath that now and
also that works too
with nelq glue if you get no glue under
there you can use that to file it down
so it's not built up under there because
that can get very annoying I don't have
very much of it I'm usually fairly good
about not getting it built up under
there but sometimes you can you can do
it and so this tool is very very helpful
you just mix it for a good clean
clean out
you just go through and check them all
some have more than others some have
none at all
and then you just file the tips just to
make sure that they're all like edge
down a little bit so they're not sharp
because you'd hate to go and
accidentally scratch somebody or scratch
yourself even
and then you just take the buffer you
could buff down your nails a little bit
if need be mine really didn't need
buffing but my tips I like to buff my
tips down a little bit so that they're
not sharp
okay and then here you just take a
little rag and wipe off the excess
residue of the filing so when you go to
apply your basecoat there's not grime
underneath it or on your no this is the
product I'm using I got it from Amazon I
got the base coat and the topcoat
together I love it it lays so nice on
the nose I like using gel overlay over
acrylic for many reasons but a for a
couple of good reasons one is because if
there's any flaws in acrylic the gel
will fill in those little holes or dips
or scratch marks and - I like using gel
overlay as well because it kind of gives
an extra sturdy balance to the acrylic
so it makes it you know a little bit
stronger and then 2 or 3 I like using
gel overlay because it just makes them
extremely shiny
but for today I'm not doing any actual
polish color polish I'm just doing a
base in a topcoat I just wanted
something a little bit just plain
playing Jane
and you're just gonna apply this to
every now I do my thumbs first and then
my four fingers because it's hard to do
all five at the same time at least it is
for me because I end up making a mess
everywhere
and then you're just gonna cure it
and the top coat that I'm using you
actually do not have to wipe it
afterwards with residue cleaner the top
coat that I'm using it actually is a no
wipe so once it's cured it's done okay
you guys that was my nail tutorial hope
you guys hopefully okey healthy
hopefully you guys liked it I did keep
it a lot more shorter and more compact
than the last video this one was the
French manicure versus the last one was
the nil natural nail which is a little
bit more compact because there's a
little bit more steps to it and of
course I did painting and fun stuff like
that so anyways again have a wonderful
day I hope you guys enjoy
talk to you guys soon bye
